This Privacy Policy describes how Standups & Startups, LLC (“Standups & Startups,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use StandupsandStartups.com and its associated services (the “Website”), purchase tickets, submit forms, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Website, you consent to the practices described here. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions.

When you submit a form, purchase a ticket, subscribe to a newsletter, apply for sponsorship, or inquire about workshops, we may collect:

  • Any other information you voluntarily provide.

  • Eventbrite and Luma — ticketing and event registration;
  • HubSpot — customer relationship management, forms, and email marketing;

  • Payment processors, hosting providers, and similar vendors as needed to operate the Website.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of cookies and analytics or advertising technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain state privacy laws.   • Email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link that allows you to opt out of future marketing messages. We may still send non-marketing transactional messages, such as ticket confirmations.
  • Text messages (SMS). If you opt in to receive text messages from us, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of email or other communications.
  • Opt out of tracking / “Your Privacy Choices.” To the extent our use of tracking technologies constitutes a sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may opt out by adjusting your cookie preferences or by contacting us at info@standupsandstartups.com.
  • Opt-out preference signals. We honor recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law. Because such signals are browser- and device-specific, you may need to enable the signal on each browser and device you use.

10. Email and Text Communications

When you contact us or subscribe to a list, you agree to receive communications from Standups & Startups consistent with the choices described above. You can change your preferences at any time using the opt-out methods in Section 7 or by contacting us.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it in accordance with our security protocols.

12. Third-Party Processing

You agree that any third-party processing identified in this Policy is subject to the privacy practices and policies of those third-party processors, and not to this Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
